Department of Anthropology Wins Four University Excellence Awards

Congratulations to the members of the Department of Anthropology who took home UTSA University Excellence Awards in 2021! Dr. Jill Fleuriet won the President's Disginguished Achievement Award for Mentoring, Dr. Michael Cepek won the President's Distinguished Achievement Award for Community Engagement (Tenured & Tenure-Track) and the President's Distinguished Achievement Award for Core Curriculum Teaching (Tenured & Tenure Track), and doctoral student Rey Villanueva won the President's Distinguished Diversity Award (Student). Great work, UTSA anthropologists!!!
